Clever, quirky, humorous, informative. It is hard to beat that combination. Then add in the fact that you need this series, and these books go to the top of the “Must Buy” list....... I highly recommend the first six books of this series and look forward to the remaining eight books

The Charter for Children uses animals to teach human lessons much like Aesop’s Fables, allowing children to engage in moral dilemmas. Characters speak in repeated rhymes, lending a Dr. Seuss quality to it that compounds the message.

The Charter for Children book series makes the Charter of Canadian Rights and Freedoms more personal and understandable through stories of lovable cartoon characters such as Anne of Green Tomatoes, Alexander the Grape, and Thanadel the Canadian Goose.
